Welcome!
Welcome to all the new families joining our Bell Community and welcome back to
all our returning friends. It was great to see so many smiling faces this past
first month of school. Hopefully you have all settled in to a daily routine
and are enjoying your teachers and new classes. Thanks to our new principal,
Donna Zaeske, and the staff for working so hard to get the school and all the
classrooms ready.
It was great to see so many parents at our first PTO meeting. We are really
looking forward to working with everyone this coming year. The success of our
PTO is dependent upon the open communication and teamwork of the parents and
administration. We, as officers, are here to ensure that the Bell parents are
receiving the information needed to feel connected to the school and understand
the variety of ways to help support our children and educators. Please feel
free to contact us with questions, concerns, and/or suggestions at anytime.

PTO Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways to get involved with the Bell school PTO. Throughout the
year the PTO works hard to provide school wide programs such as picture day and
fine arts night, individual grade gatherings, and community outreach events.
In addition, we help to organize other happenings such as Bingo night, the
Scholastic book fair, Red Sox opening day celebration, the Science exhibition,
Playground fun day and the end of year Teacher appreciation luncheon. Without
the help of Bell school parents, these events would not be successful. If you
are looking to get involved, please email any of the PTO officers and/or attend
one of our monthly meetings. For a list of opportunities, please visit the
volunteer page.
And last but not least, thanks…
A big THANK YOU to Jean Skaane for organizing our parent volunteers for picture
day and to the parents who donated their time. It is essential that we have
parents there on picture day so that we can help coordinate the children and
keep the picture process moving. Parents that volunteered their time are Linda
Guy, Maria Tilkens, Jen Spungin, Sharman Pollender, Tracy Roman, Lauren
Kennedy, Stephanie Scola, Jen Spungin, Milena Connolly, and Heather Dalton.
